Roots
Welcome, glad you stopped by!
I grew up playing in the red clay of Cornelia—a small, rural town in northeast Georgia — home to my Cherokee heritage and the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. My vibrant, extended family neighborhood was full of brilliant visionaries. Born an artist with a love for capturing the lives of people and places, I drew floorplans before I knew the word 'architecture.'
Before long, my passion for the built environment shifted my focus from visual communicator to shaping space — forming the bedrock of who I am today: a Community Architect devoted to people, place and the power of livable design.

Site
Dirt - where a thing happens, where a people live and prosper; dreams take root 'on site' - traditions and legacies are built.
Sight
The ability to see; something that is unseen. My sights were formed and fixed - firmly in this soil - on this site.

Black Rural Visionaries
MAKING CHANGE!
A real-time, evidence-based, 3-day workshop for visionaries living in or returning to rural towns to design culturally rooted solutions that honor historical presence, and create lasting visibility.
This workshop deepened my commitment to prioritizing cultural investment alongside structural investment in communities.
As an artist, my role is not only to advocate for better spaces
and services but also to ensure that they build upon the legacy of my city and its people. Great work! This was so inspiring!
Great presentations, looking forward to more.
